What Are the Symptoms of Hoffa’s Syndrome?

A number of factors are involved in deciding whether a person may have Hoffa’s syndrome. There are no clear-cut signs of injury, but the condition may present with a dull ache and occasional sharp pain. Another potential sign is swelling below the knee. People with Hoffa’s syndrome may also experience pain when walking for long periods and in straightening the knee. Some of these symptoms are similar to symptoms of arthritis, but they are not the same.
